Design Part 2: Taking Wellness Back

In modern day life, we are faced with a whole new set of challenges when it comes to our wellness. We now have a vast growth of diseases that we did not even know existed until ten years ago, based on my knowledge. Some questions that are raised are: What has changed with the health and wellness of each of us?” Is it the lack of knowledge? Do we think our bodies can just handle the garbage we continue to feed it? Are our lives so fast-paced that we don’t take the time for us anymore? All these questions and more have been on my mind.

The US has the highest obesity rate in the world, and yet our Food and Drug Administration has approved all the foods that are currently on our grocery store shelves – and not to mention the pharmaceuticals.

So, what do we do to clean up our lives – eat healthy, exercise and avoid taking pharmaceuticals to resolve bodily ailments?

The first step is awareness of what is happening to the food chain/supply; we have to take back the control of your bodies. The second step is action; design an exercise program that you can stick to. And lastly, don’t screw up the last step by putting the wrong foods in your mouth.

I believe making good food choices is probably the hardest step of all. You can be aware of what you should and shouldn’t eat and make the time to exercise, but if you make bad food choices, you won’t reach your goals. I have created an elimination food lifestyle that gives your body a jump-start to cleanse and rejuvenate your body by detoxifying while eating a whole food diet.  By eating clean food, you will have a healing experience.

Please keep an eye out for future blogs that will introduce recipes that not only taste amazing, but are also very cleansing to our bodies. Or you can reach out to me directly and I will share the experience!
