Ringing in the New Year with new fashion / color trends, I think to myself, my closet can not bare anymore room for new clothes, so I took it upon myself to clear the clutter. As I was cleaning and sorting through my clothes and accessories, I was thinking about how I could use what I have by putting a new twist to making the old look new and in style with the latest trends. So here are a few basics that I am sure you all have in your closets:
Take a print pencil skirt add a color, in the example we are accessorizing with orange. This creates a fun, professional look.
Take a basic cardigan sweater; with a printed pencil skirt, add shoes and accessories to create a similar look to what is shown above.
This is a fun outfit when you are going to meet up with a friend for happy hour. You will need basic skinny jeans; a camisole, fun booties and a mid-length cardigan. Add some bling and you are set for a night out on the town.
This outfit could be used as a casual day at the office. I love tights, paired with a white shirt (un-tucked) with accessories that will set off a plain shirt/tights combo. Add color with your purse … all eyes will be on you!
This outfit could also be paired with slacks that could be worn by day and change into jeans for that Friday night excursion.
